It has been a long journey to clean up the Manila’s Pasig River, a waterway many dismissed as too polluted to sustain life – and a breeding ground for disease. In less than a year, an ADB-supported project transformed Estero de Paco, an estuary of the river, for the better (via Asian Development Bank).
